Saffin Pond Swim Team
Saffin Pond offers you a flexible swimming experience. Don’t want to compete? Join to become a stronger swimmer! Going away? Participate in the meets and practices you can make it to! Loving it? Come all six days a week and race to the championships!
No previous swim team experience is required, but all swimmers need to be able to move through the water independently. If you are unsure if your swimmer is ready or not, feel free to contact us with any questions. We offer trial days for new swimmers. If anyone decides that it is not for them during the trial period, you will receive a full refund if you have already paid. The 2024 trial days will be June 12th-14th.
2024 Season
Our 2024 season will run from June 12th to August 3rd. Practices are offered Monday-Friday from 9:00-11:00am and 5:30-7:30pm. Swimmers will be assigned to a practice group and time based on preference, availability and age group. There are no practices on days we have a meet. Meets are usually held on Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings. Championship meets are held at the end of the season. Please check out the schedule for specific dates, times and locations.
History
The Saffin Pond Swim Team was established in 2013 to provide the opportunity for children ages 5-18 in Jefferson Township and surrounding communities to be involved in competitive summer swimming in the North Jersey Regional Lake League. Our swimming seasons have been very successful for the team, winning multiple swim meets and many individual medals in the season finals. The Team also received The Good Sportsmanship Award by the League three times! We are located on beautiful Saffin Pond and operate with the approval of the Morris County Parks Commission and Jefferson Township. Join with us as we look forward to another exciting swim season !
